(edit 2/07/07: I lied, added transmute: earthstorm diamond. Now it is true that it won't change any time soon! Also, changed text regarding mats in the first paragraph)

(edit 04/02/07: adding Elixir of major firepower)

(edit 04/16/07: adding xmute shadow to water and fel mana potion)

I now have all of the new alchemy items which are not dropped/rep rewards/'discovered'. If people are interested, let me know - mats are starting to become less of an issue ... but I still don't typically have a bunch of the required herbs (and for transmutes: primals) so we'll have to work something out.

(Also, I'll note that my coverage of high end stuff from pre-TBC is spotty at best, but contact me if you need something from there).

Things I can make:

Volatile Healing Potion [300] - Requires level 55 - Restores 1050 to 1750 Health
Materials - 1 Golden Sansam, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Onslaught Elixir [300] - Requires Level 50 - Increases Attack power by 60 for 1 hour
Materials - 1 Mountain Silversage, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Adept's Elixir [300] - Requires Level 50 - Increases Spell Damage and Healing by up to 24
and spell critical strike rating by 24 for 1 hour
Materials - 1 Dreamfoil, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Major Strength - Requires Level 50 - Increase your Strength by 35 for 1 hour
Materials - 1 Mountain Silversage, 1 Felweed

Elixir of Healing Power - Requires Level 50 - Increases the effects of healing spells that
you cast by up to 50 for 1 hour
Materials - 1 Golden Sansam, 1 Dreaming Glory, 1 Imbued Vial

Unstable Mana Potion - Requires Level 55 - Restores 1350 to 2250 Mana
Materials - 2 Rageveil, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Mastery - Requires Level 50 - Increases all stats by 15 for 1 hour
Materials - 3 Terocone, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Camouflage [305] - Requires Level 50 - Imbiber cannot be tracked for 1 hour
Materials - 1 Rageveil, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Sneaking Potion [315] - Requires Level 50 - Increases Stealth a Great Deal for 1 minute
Materials - 2 Rageveil, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Major Frost Power [320] - Requires Level 50 - Increases Frost Spell Damage by up to 55 for 1 hour
Materials - 2 Mote of Water, 1 Ancient Lichen, 1 Imbued Vial

Mercurial Stone [325] - Required by Jewelcrafters to Transmute Truesteel
Materials - 1 Primal Earth, 1 Primal Life, 1 Primal Mana

Super Healing Potion [330] - Requires Level 55 - Restores 1500 to 2500 Health
Materials - 2 Dreaming Glory, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Major Agility - Requires Level 55 - Increases your Agility by 35 for 1 hour
Materials - 1 Terocone, 2 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Super Mana Potion [340] - Requires Level 55 - Restores 1800 to 3000 Mana
Materials - 2 Netherbloom, 1 Felweed, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Major Defense [345] - Requires Level 55 - Increases Armor by 550 for 1 hour
Materials - 3 Ancient Lichen, 1 Terocone, 1 Imbued Vial

Elixir of Major Firepower [345] - Requires Level 50 - Increase fire spell damage by up to 65 for 1 hour
Materials - 3 Mote of Fire, 1 Ancient Lichen, 1 Imbued Vial

Major Dreamless Sleep Potion - Requires Level 60 - Puts the imbiber in a dreamless sleep for 12 sec. During that time the imbiber heals 3600 health and 3600 mana.
Materials - 1 Dreaming Glory, 1 Netherbloom, 1 Imbued Vial

Fel Mana Potion [360] - Requires Level 60 - Restores 3200 mana over 24 sec, but at a cost. Also reduces damage and healing done by magical spells and effects by 25 for 15 min.
Materials - 1 mana thistle, 2 Netherbloom, 1 Imbued Vial

Transmute Skyfire Diamond - Requires 3 Blood Garnet, 3 Flame Spessarite, 3 Azure Moonstone, 2 Primal Fire, 2 Primal Air

Transmute Primal Might [350] - Requires 1 Primal Earth, 1 Primal Water, 1 Primal Air, 1 Primal Fire, 1 Primal Mana

Transmute Earthstorm Diamond - Requires 3 Deep Peridot, 3 Shadow Draenite, 3 Golden Draenite, 2 Primal Earth, 2 Primal Water

Transmute Primal Shadow to Water - Requires 1 Primal Shadow

Just wanted to point out the shadow->water transmute. I'm already cranking them out for Skaro, and soon will be for Olwen as well. When you frozen shadoweave types start getting ot the point where you need waters, let me know. Other folks - if you have a need for primal waters, give a shout. Can only make one a day so it'll be slow.

You might want to consider doing the Sporeggar rep grind for the Transmute Primal Earth -> Water. P. Earths are going for about 3g per, so you'll get a wider profit margin (if they go for much more than 3g, just check later in the day after it's undercut all to heck). I did it without ever going through Underbog, just by picking up the quest to slaughter the Bloodscale Naga over and over. It was tedious, but it got me a lot of XP and gold while I was doing it. Plus I've gotten 3 discoveries off of the transmutes since then.

Hay I'm a alchy, so I enjoyed the post, I've been working on Sporeggar rep for IC reasons, but your thoughts clinched it.

Oh, good. I feel slightly less dumb now.

I recommend the repeatable Naga quest over the fertile spore gathering. The Naga yield more gold, plus I find it more fun to slaughter them than spore bats or fen striders. And personally, I find it less frustrating to see predictable quest completions than to rely on a fickle drop rate. I would swear, though, that the last time I ran the quest, one of the Enchantresses hissed, "Not this b*tch again." Wink

Bones,

I have over 20 Primal Earths laying about attempting to return to their natural state (i.e. gathering dust). If you want to transmute them all to water for me, as I can acutally use the Primal Waters, I'd be eternally happy.

I'm working on getting that recipe from the sporelings, I'll take you up on that once they like me enough.
